Reactive NanoTech Secures $14.3 Million Series C

BALTIMORE, MD -- Nanotech company Reactive NanoTechnologies Inc. said it has received $14.3 million in thir round institutional funding.

Siemens Ventures led the round, which included Eastward Capital Partners, Sevin Rosen Funds, SAS Investors, Toucan Capital, Silicon Valley BancVentures, and the Maryland Dept of Business and Economic Development.

The company has developed nanotechnology that it calls NanoFoil.  The product has microscopic layers that help control the release of heat to assist in joining different materials.
